A swift and conclusive victory is what Julius Caesar reported to his friend Amantius with the famous words, “Veni, vidi, vici.”
I came, I saw, I conquered.
Swift and conclusive manifestations are what I’ve got in mind when I declare, “Volo, vidi, vixi.”
I wanted it, I imagined it, I lived it.
(Okay, it’s far from a perfect translation, but it’s close enough for my two years of high school Latin. Hopefully Mrs. B. will allow it.)
1. I desired it. Some sort of contrast or life experience inspired a new desire within me. I wanted it.
2. Smart manifestor that I am, I knew to see it first, in my mind’s eye, before it was real. I imagined it.
3. And then it happened. I received it as a life experience. I lived it.
I wanted it, I imagined it, I lived it.
Or maybe a better version is, “Volo, vidi veni.” I wanted, I saw, it happened. Because that final step where it manifests is not our job. We don’t work on it; it comes to us. It unfolds, in accordance with whatever we’ve imagined.
However you say it or choose to think about it, the fact is we live what we imagine. Our imagination turns ideas into reality.
That’s true for whatever ideas we hold. They’re converted into life experiences. That goes for all our nagging worries, worst fears and same ol’ same ‘ol expectations.
But when we use our imagination for good, we can live whatever we dare dream of. There’s nothing too big for us to achieve when we’re willing to see it and feel it before it’s real.
Volo, vidi, vixi.
Whatever you want, imagine it, and it becomes.
You don’t have to figure out how; you don’t have to make it happen. You don’t have to prove your worthiness or sweat or bleed for it. Just imagine it.
Whatever you want.
Volo, vidi, vixi.
I wanted it, I imagined it, I lived it.
Here’s to your swift and conclusive manifestations of your favorite dreams come true.
What are you imagining today?
