I know we know better than to “should” on ourselves, but sometimes even conscious creators get weighed down with thoughts of what we should have done or what we think we’re supposed to be doing.
We can end up feeling guilt, regret, or irritation that we just can’t seem to make ourselves do what needs to be done.
That’s a good time to remember that if we don’t feel like doing it, it doesn’t need to be done.
If inspiration isn’t present for what we think needs to happen, then we were mistaken in thinking it was required.
Inner guidance is reliable for knowing the best way to what we want. And it calls us there via our joy, curiosity, or delight.
So if we’re not feeling happy to do something, that means it doesn’t need doing. It’s simply not part of the path for getting what we want.
As Abraham says, “Unhappy journeys don’t have happy endings,” so forcing ourselves to do something we don’t feel like doing won’t take us anywhere good anyway.
(Yes, if we hold a strong enough belief that this thing is necessary we can mess up our alignment to the desire, but we’re too smart for that routine.)
You can trust your guidance/joy to know the best way to what you want. That’s true for big dreams as well as small desires.
So when you don’t feel like doing it, it doesn’t need to be done. Not yet, not now, not in this mood, anyway. Maybe your feelings about it will change someday, and if they do, then you’ll do it when you feel like it.
That’s reliable manifesting protocol. 🙂
